Hi! I’m listening to the horror decontruction on quarantine and you forgot to mention the biggest diference about the movie with rec …quarantine: super rabies rec: Demonic posession. But maybe you did. i’m just in the middle of it. But if you didn’t, now you know. Great podcast by the way :D BIG FAN! love all of them, especially the one on demon knight!

Saw you gravitated our youtube to
the tumblr. I myself (alex) hadn’t seen
REC in a while when i did the review,
I remember the supernatural element,
but i didn’t know if it was a red herring to
explain scientific experiments… is that the
case in the recent REC (GENESIS) that just
came out, is it literally supernatural? I think
American films a bit back relied more on scientific
reasoning until the recent paranormal activity
franchises. Then again, I have no idea.
I’m not a horror expert, I think Danny would be than
I am. It’s more likely the cultural ideas of what is scarier.

a very, very good genre bending horror film,
one of the better self aware horror films I have
seen with an incredibly chaotic ending. Check it out!

Hey, check out the short film “The Code” by Taylor Brandt.
It’s 6 minutes and quite Whedonesque in it’s portrayal of
zombies. A fun little watch.
